Jill divorces Jack and marries Marbles, and the two of them team up with Pyron to overthrow Jack's family. Captain of the Guard is finally able to catch up with Jack, who has now become a popcorn ball. After fighting eachother for a bit, they get Luvbot to help them start a revolution against the new government that Jill begun to establish (though it's only Jack who actually cares - the other two simply seek vengeance on the Mage Formerly Known as Marbles (he changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol so that he wouldn't have so many people making him puke all the time)). Meanwhile Tsai and Waf have been investigating an increase in vampirism in Texas which leads to the realization that Jack and Jill have just been pawns in Pyron's overall scheme to create the perfect toast (which involves putting in a lot of sweat, toil, and especially blood - lots and lots of blood).
